Hyderabad, March 21 -- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad team has won the 'Smart India Hackathon 2019' for coming up with a solution to a problem on Steel Construction. The competition organised by the Ministry of Human Recourses Development, Government of India was held at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on March 2 an 3. They won a prize money of Rs 75,000. The team members-Siddfharth Gupta (Team leader), Nisha Akole, Ajay Hase, Aman Agarwal, Prabhat Rai and Prasad Gaikwad (SNAAPP) of M Tech in Communication and Signal Processing, did non-stop coding for 36 hours and delivered the mobile application as part of their proposed solution.
