Varanasi, Dec. 10 -- Under the Uttar Pradesh Green Hydrogen Policy-2024, the state government has granted approval to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) Gorakhpur to jointly establish a Green Hydrogen Centre of Excellence.
This approval has been given by the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) with the aim of promoting research, technology development, capacity building, and industrial applications related to green hydrogen in the state.
