Dhanbad, March 18 -- Prof Sukumar Mishra, Director of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, has been selected for the Om Prakash Bhasin Award 2023 in the field of Engineering, including Energy and Aerospace.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh along with a citation and plaque and recognises contributions to engineering research and innovation.
Instituted in memory of Om Prakash Bhasin, the award honours significant contributions in science and technology and scientific leadership with national impact.
Prof Mishra has been recognised for his work in power systems, renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies.
