Kasaragod, Sept. 8 -- Construction of 'The International Institute for People with Disabilities (IIPD)', being developed in Kasaragod as a world-class model for the comprehensive development of differently-abled people under the leadership of the Thiruvananthapuram Different Art Center (DAC), will be launched at Madikai, near Nileshwaram, on September 10.
The inaugural ceremony will be attended by three eminent personalities , including renowned film director Adoor Gopalakrishnan, noted writer T Padmanabhan and lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, along with DAC Chairman and former Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson, DAC Executive Director and magician Gopinath Muthukad and various people's representatives.
