New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- : The Indian Golf Union(IGU) has reiterated the legal standing of its governing body elected on 15.12.2024 as the sole National Sports Federation (NSF) for golf in India.
In an advisory issued on Monday, the IGU noted that certain unauthorized individuals, specifically a faction falsely claiming to be the office bearers of the IGU, are circulating misleading communications regarding selection trials, coaching camps, and participation in upcoming international events, including the Asian Games 2026.
