Srinagar, Feb. 18 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi on Tuesday, assessed the joint security preparedness and operational capabilities of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in south Kashmir.

The IGP visited Anantnag on Tuesday, where he chaired a high-level joint security review meeting, focusing on enhanced coordination, joint resource utilisation, and operational efficiency.

A police spokesman said the meeting was attended by senior officers from the Police and CRPF, who deliberated on joint deployment strategies, operational preparedness, and emerging security challenges.
