Srinagar, April 5 -- Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi, chaired a high-level joint security meeting in Srinagar, directing intensified security measures across both urban and rural areas.
The IGP ordered round-the-clock patrolling and enhanced surveillance at all key entry and exit points to ensure foolproof security arrangements.
Union Minister Shah will arrive on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir on April six evening. In Srinagar, he would hold security and development review meetings on April eight. The two meetings will be held at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar
