New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant paid rich tributes to Swami Vivekananda, describing him as one of India's greatest visionaries and the country's finest international ambassador of culture and philosophy.

While inaugurating a blood donation camp at the Supreme Court premises on Monday, the Chief Justice said that Swami Vivekananda's teachings remain deeply relevant, especially for the younger generation.

The blood donation camp was jointly organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Adhivakta Parishad, Supreme Court Unit, on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti.
