New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), under the Culture Ministry, and the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Lucknow, under the Department of Science and Technology, signed a pact today to bridge scientific accuracy with cultural richness to share India's story globally.

According to a government statement here, the MoU is the first of its kind in India, aiming to bring together interdisciplinary research, joint events, and shared expertise between the two institutions. It will focus on areas such as digitisation, education, climate change through Project Mausam, conservation, museum development, fieldwork, publications, and public outreach.
