Shimla, Dec. 18 -- The Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC), Shimla, has issued a clarification refuting a recent news report that claimed the DEXA scan machine in the hospital's Radiology Department was non-functional.
Terming the report "factually incorrect and misleading," the hospital administration has asserted that the machine is fully operational and functioning properly.
In an official press note released by the Medical Superintendent, IGMC stated that the publication of such unverified information had caused unnecessary confusion among patients and the general public, besides adversely affecting the image of the premier healthcare institution of Himachal Pradesh.
