Shimla, Dec. 26 -- The controversy surrounding the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) brawl here has taken another turn after sympathisers of the terminated resident doctor circulated documents on social media showing a previous criminal case registered against the patient involved in the incident.
Doctors' groups backing Dr. Raghav Nirula, formerly a senior resident at (IGMC), shared copies of an FIR allegedly lodged in June 2025 at Kupvi police station against the patient, Arjun Singh, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) relating to assault and criminal intimidation.
