Geneva, Aug. 4 -- The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has condemned the attack on the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) headquarters in Khan Younis.

PRCS staff member Omar Isleem was killed, and two other staff members were injured in the attack. One civilian also got injured who was trying to help extinguish the fire that broke out at the site.

In a statement yesterday, the IFRC called for protecting civilians and humanitarian workers, as well as respecting and preserving the Red Crescent emblem.
