Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20 -- Altogether 331 films from 52 countries across 29 categories will be screened at the 17th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) to be held from August 22 to 27.
The screenings will begin at 9-15 pm on August 22, at the Kairali, Sree, and Nila theatres in the capital.
The festival will be inaugurated at 6 pm at the Kairali Theatre by Minister for Culture Saji Cherian,
Following the inaugural ceremony, the opening film From Ground Zero, a collective work by 22 Palestinian filmmakers depicting the untold stories of the Gaza genocide, will be screened.
