Jerusalem, Sept. 30 -- IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the military is working to give Israel's leadership maximum flexibility as the government weighs its next steps following US President Donald Trump's newly unveiled plan to end the war in Gaza.
In remarks provided by the army, the IDF commander described the moment as a potential turning point. "The ongoing offensive in Gaza City, together with President Trump's peace proposal, creates new opportunities and brings us closer to achieving the war's objectives," he said.
