ID of all farmers would be made at the earliest: Speaker

Patna, Feb. 3 -- Bihar assembly Speaker Prem Kumar today said that the state government was serious about the issue of ID of the farmers for the PM Kisan Samman Yojana and the ID of all farmers would be made at the earliest.

Intervening into the reply of Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav to a Call Attention of Sachindra Prasad Singh and others during the pre lunch sitting of the state Assembly, Kumar said that special drive has been launched for the purpose and ID of 33 lakh farmers have been prepared. He assured the government was serious towards the issue and the ID of all farmers would be made as soon as possible.

While replying to the call attention, Yadav assured that no eligible farmer would be devoid of the farmers ID card.
