Hyderabad, April 6 -- A two-day training programme on soil health management, aimed at strengthening sustainable agriculture practices, commenced at ICRISAT headquarters in Patancheru on Monday in collaboration with the Telangana Government.
The initiative, aligned with the State's "Telangana Rising" vision, seeks to equip over 120 farmers and frontline stakeholders from Kodangal with practical knowledge and tools to improve soil health, optimise input use, and promote crop diversification.
The inaugural session was attended by Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, along with senior officials and agricultural experts, including representatives from horticulture and agricultural universities.
