Chennai, Feb. 13 -- The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Friday approved replacementsin Ireland anad Zimbabwe squads.
While Sam Topping was announced as replacement for Paul Stirling in the Ireland squad, Ben Curran replaces Brendan Taylorein the Zimbabwe team.
Curran was named as a replacement when Taylor was ruled out after sustaining a right hamstring injury during the match againstOman on February 9.
The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
