Shillong, March 24 -- Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Eastern Air Command (EAC), Air Marshal Surat Singh on Monday felicitated outstanding sportspersons for their accomplishments, in various Air Force Championships, here at headquarters EAC here in Meghalaya.
Air Force level Championships are organised every year in various sports, under the aegis of the Air Force Sports Control Board for the award of the "Sardar Baldev Singh Challenge Cup". The felicitation ceremony is conducted accordingly.
The felicitation ceremony at the EAC is aimed to recognise outstanding performances and boost the morale of Sportsmen who have performed well in these Air Force Championships.
