Jaipur/New Delhi, July 9 -- An IAF Jaguar trainer aircraft crashed today killing both pilots, near Bhanuda village in Ratangarh sub-division of Churu district in Rajasthan.

The aircraft flew from Suratgarh air base around 1230hrs or so, on a routine practice sortie. It caught fire mid-air and fell with a big bang in an unmanned farm land on the outskirts of Bhanuda in Rajaldesar region.

Locals who reached the spot soon after, found two burnt and mutilated bodies. They informed the police and Army authorities, who later reached the spot along with fire tenders.

Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav confirmed the recovery of two bodies, which were of two pilots, Lokendra and Rishi.
