New Delhi, July 9 -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar trainer aircraft crashed near Churu in Rajasthan today, resulting in the deaths of both pilots.
According to the IAF, "The Jaguar Trainer aircraft met with an accident during a routine training mission near Churu in Rajasthan today."
"Both pilots sustained fatal injuries in the accident. No damage to any civil property has been reported," the IAF said.
"The Indian Air Force deeply regrets the loss of lives and stands firmly with the bereaved families in this time of grief," the statement said.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the accident, it added.
