New Delhi, Oct. 29 -- The Indian Air Force is all set to host the Sekhon IAF Marathon 2025 (SIM-25) a half marathon, as a befitting tribute to Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, on November 2.
While the main event will be flagged off from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in the national capital, it will be simultaneously conducted at 60 Air Force stations across the country.
The IAF's war hero, who fought against all odds in 1971 Indo-Pak war, was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the nation's highest gallantry award. The half marathon aims to unite fitness, patriotism, and national pride under one banner.
