Pune, June 7 -- National president of India Against Corruption (IAC), Hemant Patil, here on Saturday dismissed the statement made by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, regarding 'electoral fraud' in the Maharashtra Assembly elections in a newspaper article, terming it as 'baseless'.
The remark by Rahul Gandhi on the Maharashtra elections is an attempt to cast doubt on transparent electoral system of the country, he said.
The statement made by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha without any proof can create confusion among the countrymen, he noted.
