Patna, March 4 -- Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday thundered in the assembly that he had made Lalu Prasad, Chief Minister of Bihar in 1990 despite strong opposition from some leaders in RJD.
Kumar while replying to debate in assembly on thanks giving motion to Governor for his address to the joint sitting of both Houses of the state legislature, said that he had made Lalu Prasad Chief Minister of Bihar in 1990. In those days, some RJD leaders including those of his castes were strongly opposing the move to make him Chief Minister, he pointed out.
