Varanasi, Nov. 29 -- For the first time, hydrogen-powered water taxis will start operating in the holy city of Kashi on December 4. union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal will flag off the inaugural ride from Namo Ghat.
Sanjeev Kumar, Director of the Inland Waterways Authority of India, Varanasi, stated on Saturday that the environmentally friendly hydrogen water taxi will be completely pollution-free, with all preparations underway for its launch.
