Hyderabad, Dec. 27 -- In a landmark achievement for Indian chess, 10-year-old twins Anay and Amaya Agarwal have etched their names into the record books by becoming the youngest twins ever to earn chess master titles in the same year, accomplishing the feat within a remarkable 2.5-year span.

Students of Indus International School, the Hyderabad-born siblings achieved their milestones through consistent performances on the international stage.

Anay earned the Candidate Master (CM) title, while his twin sister Amaya secured the Women's Candidate Master (WCM) title earlier this year.
