Hyderabad, Jan. 27 -- In a major step towards technology-driven policing, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar, on Tuesday launched a Generative AI-based Duty Allocation System for the City Armed Reserve (CAR) unit.
The system, developed in a record time of about two months, aims to bring transparency, efficiency, and fairness to the duty allocation process.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar said the AI-powered platform replaces the conventional manual system, which was time-consuming, prone to errors, and often faced allegations of bias.
By automating allocations through objective, data-driven parameters, the new system ensures impartiality while significantly reducing administrative workload, he said.
