Hyderabad, Dec. 4 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Thursday said Hyderabad is set to become the nation's frontrunner in the quantum economy, backed by its strong infrastructure, scientific depth and skilled talent base.
He was speaking at IIIT Gachibowli during the launch of NITI Aayog's Roadmap for Quantum and the Telangana Quantum Strategy (TQS).
Bhatti said the Quantum Roadmap is fully aligned with the state's long-term vision document, 'Telangana Rising 2047', which aims to make Telangana a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047. With the introduction of TQS, Telangana is also becoming the first state in the country to frame a dedicated strategy for quantum technologies.
