Hyderabad, July 15 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said that Hyderabad has firmly established itself as the "bulk drugs capital of the world" and is poised to lead India's future as a hub for both pharmaceuticals and data innovation.

Speaking as the chief guest after laying the foundation stone for the new facility of ICHOR Biologics at Genome Valley, Shamirpet, the Chief Minister highlighted Hyderabad's impressive contribution to the country's pharma sector.

"About 33 per cent of vaccines and 43 percent of bulk drugs in India are produced in Hyderabad.
