Hyderabad, May 9 -- In a major operation during April 2025, the Cyber Crime Unit of Hyderabad City Police arrested 24 individuals across six states involved in over 313 cyber fraud cases nationwide, with links to 53 cases in Telangana alone.
The arrests were made in Delhi (11), Maharashtra (5), Uttar Pradesh (3), West Bengal (3), Bihar (1), and Madhya Pradesh (1), a police statement said on Friday.
Officials seized mobile phones, laptops, fake company stamps, swiping machines, rubber stamps, and even counterfeit soap bars being sold under fake branding.
