Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- In a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking, Hyderabad City police have busted an interstate ganja racket by arresting three suspects.
Police seized 908.41 kg of Ganja, worth Rs 2.7 crore and four mobile phones.
Acting on credible information, the Commissioner's Task Force, South-East Zone Team, in coordination with Bandlaguda police, apprehended Mohammed Kaleem Uddin (32), Shaik Sohail (23), and Mohammed Afzal (25), all residents of Amberpet, Hyderabad, while they were transporting ganja from Malkangiri in Odisha to Maharashtra via Hyderabad.
The interception took place near OS Palace Function Hall Main Road, Bandlaguda, a police statement said on Thursaday.
