Hyderabad, Aug. 29 -- The Telangana Sports Hub, in its inaugural board meeting held in the city on Thursday, passed a resolution to host major sporting events, including Khelo India, Commonwealth, and even the Olympics in the state.
The board also resolved to set up sub-committees for stadium maintenance, improving sports facilities, training athletes and coaches, and implementing key aspects of the Telangana Sports Policy.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said his vision is to establish Hyderabad as a preferred destination for sports, positioning the city on both the national and international stage.
