Hyderabad, Dec. 27 -- : Actor Allu Arjun is among 23 persons chargesheeted by the Hyderabad City Police in connection with the stampede case during the premiere show of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya 70mm, with investigators citing serious lapses in crowd management and security arrangements.
The chargesheet was submitted over a year afer the case was registered.
The incident occurred on the night of December 4, 2024, during the premiere show when a stampede broke out, killing 35-year-old M Revathi and leaving her nine-year-old son Sritej, critically injured.
Of 23 persons cited as accused in the case, Allu Arjun has been named as accused No.11 while the Sandhya Theatre management has been cited as the prime accused.
