Hyderabad, Jan. 11 -- Neredmet Police arrested a 26-year-old Mulim man in connection with an incident of unlawful entry and insult to religious beliefs at 'Katta Maisamma Temple, Safilguda new here.
The accused has been identified as Altaf, a resident of Hugeri village in Bidar district of Karnataka, police said here on Sunday.
He was produced before the court on Sunday following which the Magistrate remanded him to judicial custody.
The incident occurred on Saturday night when the accused allegedly entered the temple premises without authorization and committed indecent acts in front of the idol, hurting religious sentiments, police said here on Sunday.
