Hyderabad, Jan. 11 -- The Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) conducted a special drunk-driving enforcement drive over the weekend (Jan 9 to 10) and apprehended 137 offenders for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The highest number of violations involved two-wheelers (92 cases) followed by four-wheelers (39), three-wheelers (5) and one heavy vehicle, Cyberabad Traffic police said in a release here on Sunday.
Based on Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels, 108 offenders were found with BAC ranging from 35 mg/100 ml to 200 mg/100 ml, 16 offenders recorded BAC levels between 201 mg/100 ml and 300 mg/100 ml while 13 offenders were found with dangerously high BAC levels ranging from 301 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/100 ml.
