Hyderabad, Dec. 13 -- The inaugural season of the Hyderabad Pickleball League (HPL) concluded on a high note as Credicon Mavericks emerged champions after a thrilling final against All Stars at The League, Financial District in the city. The championship clash went down to a decisive seventh-set tie-breaker, with the Mavericks clinching a dramatic 4-3 victory to become the first-ever title winners in HPL history.
Nearly 2,000 spectators were present at the venue, highlighting the growing popularity of pickleball in the city.
For their title win, Credicon Mavericks received a cash prize of Rs 6 lakh, while runners-up All Stars were awarded Rs 3 lakh following a strong campaign throughout the season.
