Hyderabad, May 2 -- BJP State President N Ramchander Rao expressed concern that the condition of farmers was extremely critical in Telangana as they were not getting MSP rates for their produce.

Speaking to media in Ramayampet in Medak district, Rao said he has personally visited several paddy procurement centres and witnessed heaps of grain piling up and crops being damaged due to rains.

The lifting of grain is being delayed because lorries and trucks are not available on time, he alleged.
