Hyderabad, Dec. 29 -- Police have arrested two drug peddlers hailing from Maharashtra and seized 10.5 grams of MDMA, a synthetic drug, near Miyapur X Road in the city, an official said on Monday.
Acting on credible information received from a reliable source, a team from Miyapur Police Station conducted a raid and apprehended the accused while they were allegedly waiting to sell the banned drug to prospective customers on Saturday, said Ritiraj, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad, in a release here.
The arrested persons were identified as Kethavath Ravi (28), a mason, and Jerpula Ravi (35), an auto driver, both residents of Maharashtra.
