Hyderabad, Oct. 31 -- Tollywood actor and former union minister Konidela Chiranjeevi today flagged off the 'Run for Unity' organized by the Hyderabad Police.
He was the chief guest at the event organized on the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of India and Architect of United India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which is celebrated nationwide as 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' (National Unity Day).
Around 5000 citizens participated in the run which was primarily held at People's Plaza grounds on Necklace Road, Hyderabad, along with parallel events conducted across seven zones under the city police jurisdiction.
