Hyderabad, Dec. 14 -- The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) on Sunday denied reports claiming that surrendered Maoist leader Pulluri Prasada Rao alias Chandranna had interacted with IPS probationers at the Academy.
In a statement, the premier police training institution said some sections of the print media had reported that Prasada Rao was invited to SVPNPA, Hyderabad, for an interaction session with IPS probationers.
Clarifying the matter, the Academy stated that neither was Prasada Rao called to the Academy nor did any interaction session take place with IPS probationers at the behest of SVPNPA.
