Hyderabad, Jan. 26 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the illegal phone-tapping operations during the previous BRS regime has summoned former MP and BRS party General Secretary Joginapally Santosh Rao for questioning at 3 PM on Tuesday.

Santosh Rao's appearance is considered crucial, as previous political figures summoned by the SIT-including former minister and BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) and his brother-in-law, former minister T. Harish Rao-were reportedly among the victims of the phone-tapping.

Harish Rao and Santosh are nephews of BRS supremo and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
