Hyd: Record 60k including 203 prisoners to be received degrees at BRAOU at 26th Convocation on Sept 30

Hyderabad, Sept. 26 -- A record 60,288 candidates including 32,373 women and seven transfenderlearners, will receive degrees/diplomas certificates at the 26th Convocation ceremony of Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) to be held here on September 30. Telangana Governor and Chancellor of the University Jishnu Dev Varma will grace the occasion and will award Ph.D Degrees, Gold medals and book Prizes while Indira Gandhi National Ope University,New Delhi Vice Chancellor Prof Uma kanjilal will deliver the Conovation Address.
