Hyderabad, Dec. 22 -- National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lead Consultant Major General Sudheer Bahl held a video conference with district collectors on flood mock exercises from the Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC), Hyderabad, on Monday.
During the mock exercise, Major General Bahl interacted with district collectors on preparedness measures and operational modalities in accordance with tabletop exercises to be conducted during flood scenarios.
District Collectors from Warangal, Kamareddy, Nirmal, Khammam and Hanamkonda briefed him on the arrangements made for evacuation of the public to safer locations and the establishment of medical camps during flood situations.
