Hyderabad, Aug. 9 -- Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh today inaugurated the nation's first Animal Stem Cell Biobank, at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, is a premier research institute under the Department of Biotechnology's Biotechnology Research Innovation Council (BRIC).
The state-of-the-art facility will store and preserve high-quality stem cells from various animal species.
The Animal Stem Cell Biobank is a Landmark in Industry-Academia Partnership at NIAB, a pioneering facility supported by the Department of Biotechnology and BIRAC to drive translational research in animal biotechnology.
