Hyderabad, Nov. 30 -- The Cyberabad police busted an international fake call centre by arresting nine individuals here today, who duped Australian citizens to the tune of thousands of Australian Dollars by hacking into their bank accounts and transferring the funds.
In a significant operation, the Special Operations Team of Balanagar, in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad Commissionerate, apprehended - Yepuri Ganesh, Marampudu Chenna Keshava, Moumita Mondal, Eajaz Ahmed, Sambit Roy, Shannik Banerjee, Moumita Mallick, Silpi Samadder and Kunal Singh --, involved in operating an International Fake Call Centre at Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, in the city, the Cyberabad police said in a release here.
