Hyderabad, April 1 -- Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have arrested a man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in connection with an online investment fraud case. Police seized two mobile phones, four cheque books, and two debit cards from him. Based on a complaint, the police apprehended Shiva Shankar (27), a data entry operator from Noida, for his involvement in the scam, a police statement said on Tuesday. Shiva Shankar, accused in multiple cases across India, allegedly targeted victims through WhatsApp and social media, promising high returns on stock market investments.
