Hydrabad, Nov. 7 -- All ranks, cadets & children of the Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, participated in a patriotic collective rendition of the National Song 'Vande Mataram' here on Friday.
The event commemorated the 150th anniversary of the composition of the iconic hymn by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1875.
The occasion holds national significance, as Vande Mataram served as a powerful source of inspiration during the Indian freedom movement, instilling a spirit of courage, unity and sacrifice among the people.
The song continues to symbolise the enduring ideals of national pride, cultural heritage and collective identity.
