Hyderabad, Jan. 26 -- Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) will soon introduce agriculture-based vocational skill courses aimed at empowering students and farmers in rural Telangana, said Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani here on Monday.
Speaking after hoisting the National Flag on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day celebrations at the University campus here, Prof. Chakrapani said the new programmes would focus on providing high-quality, skill-oriented education aligned with employment opportunities.
He noted that the courses are being designed to prepare students from the very first semester to meet the requirements of corporate organizations, enabling them to access opportunities in India and abroad.
