Hamirpur, Dec. 15 -- A young woman was allegedly strangled to death by her husband in the district today over ongoing marital dispute.
The accused husband was caught by villagers while trying to flee after the incident and was later taken into police custody.
According to police, the incident took place in Bank village under the Sumerpur police station area.
The deceased woman, identified as 28-year-old Archana, was living at her parental home due to an ongoing dispute with her husband. The couple had been living separately for some time.
