Ghaziabad, Dec. 18 -- A shocking murder case has come to light from Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad, where a husband and wife allegedly killed their flat owner after she came to demand six months' pending rent, police said on Thursday.
The victim, Deepashikha Sharma (40), had gone to Aura Chimera Society on the evening of December 17 to collect rent from her tenants, Ajay Gupta and his wife Aakriti Gupta.
According to police, the accused became enraged on seeing her. They called her inside the flat, assaulted her with a pressure cooker, beat her brutally, and later strangled her to death using a dupatta.
