Budapest, July 9 -- Hungary has officially reopened its embassy in Tehran, restoring its full diplomatic presence in Iran, according to a statement posted Tuesday by Levente Magyar, Hungary's state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The move follows a 20-day temporary relocation of the mission to Baku, Azerbaijan, due to heightened regional tensions in mid-June. Hungary's diplomatic staff, including consular officers, resumed operations at the Tehran site on July 8, citing improved security conditions.
